2025 Excel Junior Camp: For Grades K-3

About the Camp: Our four day Junior Camp is for boys and girls entering grades K-3 in the fall. Camp is Monday through Thursday from 1:30-4:00. This camp is a great introduction to the "Excel Experience" in shorter hours, with lower hoops, and junior basketballs. Filled with skill development, entertaining motivational stories and lectures, passing drills, and games. Allow us to share our passion and love for the game with your children.
Daily Schedule: Station Drills: Passing, Shooting, Defense, Dribbling, Rebounding, Ballhandling, Offensive Moves, and Game Situations. Games: Each player plays equal time, 2 games per day Daily Lectures: Stresses defense & fun stories with great lessons! Ballhandling Series: The mini version of the "Pistol Pete" Maravich Ballhandling Series Passing Station: Players learn to listen, develop habits while competing for the "world championship." Tuition: $160 Camp Tuition includes a camp T-Shirt and a challenging session of detailed instruction and team play. Dates and Location: July 21-24 from 1:30-4:00 at The Academy of Our Lady of Peace, 111 South Street, New Providence, NJ Day Camp or Junior Camp? If your child is going into second or third grade, you have the option of choosing between our Day or Junior Camps. If your child is not yet able to easily shoot on a full height (10') basket and does not have the attention span to make it through a four hour camp, they will have a much better experience in the Junior Camp. Typically, only advanced second and third graders who are already playing in leagues utilizing ten foot baskets should enroll in the Day Camps. |
