Excel "in person" camps have been cancelled due to COVID-19.
The health and safety of our campers, families and our communities has been our highest priority in deciding if we could safely conduct "in person" Excel Camps this summer. We had delayed our decision hoping the health situation would improve. After ongoing consultations with health authorities and consideration of all factors, we have decided to cancel our in person camps this summer.
We are disappointed to not be able to serve your children in person but Coach Allocco will continue to reach out through his motivational messages. We also have a wide variety of virtual opportunities listed below that we have been conducting to rave reviews all summer with students in online attendance from Ohio, New Jersey, California, and more.
We hope you all stay safe and look forward to seeing you online or in person at Excel in 2021.

About Excel Basketball Camp
Excel Basketball Camp was founded in 1981 by Coach Frank Allocco, Sr. . Coach Allocco's vision was to create a basketball camp that would teach the fundamentals of basketball to players from "coast to coast." Coach drew upon his experience as a youth coach, high school coach, and collegiate coach to provide a program that would teach the game of basketball and the positive values of Teamwork, Sportsmanship, and Commitment to Excellence both on and off the court. For forty years, Excel has been a cornerstone in the hundreds of thousands of lives motivated and mentored by our passionate staff. The Camp is dedicated to the many coaches who inspired coach to be more, particularly Coach Ara Parseghian and Coach Stu Aberdeen.

You continue to set the bar higher every year with the Excel basketball program. While not every player will achieve basketball greatness, your impact on having each player reach and exceed their own potential is one of the hallmarks of Excel Basketball. The lessons learned at camp and on the court easily transfer to school, work and everyday life!"

Excel is part of my foundation as a player and as a coach, one of the most influential experiences in my life. The coaches of Excel have been like family to me since I was 10 years old! After working in the NBA for two different teams, it’s never been more evident: Excel is the best basketball Camp in the country, run by the most passionate coaches in the world. With an emphasis on fundamentals and creating habits, Excel gives you the tools to be successful as a basketball player, and as a person.”– Greg St. Jean: Assistant Coach, Los Angeles Lakers
